ABSTRACT

A chilled water energy assessment was conducted at Public Authority for Applied Education and training in Kuwait, which took place over a 6-month period (April to September). This involved the facilityís engineering, maintenance, and chilled water production personnel. The goal of the energy assessment was to commission and audit the major energy uses at the facility and to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and optimize the operation and its associated cost. At the end of the site assessment, the recommendations of the cooling system was discussed in further length as well as the methodology of implementation, a wrap up study and discussion of findings and provide a list of recommendations for the plant to start evaluating. Estimated project costs are also included where they are know
